Reservation procedure

Booking: How do I check availability?

Fill out the booking form and click “Book”.

You will receive a reply within 24 hours.

Do I need to give you my credit card number?

In order to confirm your booking and as a security, we will need your credit card number and expiration date.

Will I receive written confirmation from you?

Yes, we will reply to all requests received through our website or by email. If you book over the phone, we will send a written response upon request.

Will I receive a reservation number?

If you book online, you will find it in the confirmation email. For all other bookings, the confirmation we send you includes all of your data. Print it and bring it with you when you travel.

How do I modify a reservation that has been confirmed?

If you booked online on our official website, you can make changes directly online on this page. At the bottom you will find the link “Modify/cancel reservation” with your reservation number.

If you booked by email or telephone, simply tell us the changes you would like to make to your booking. If the changes are possible, we will send you confirmation.

Also refer to our terms of cancellation for any changes made within 24 hours of your arrival.


Payment: Will my card be charged before I get to the hotel?

No, your credit card is used as security and confirms your booking. It may be debited if you fail to show up or if you leave the hotel without paying your bill, as stipulated in the general terms of sale and cancellation. Or if you booked a non-refundable special offer with immediate debiting.

What payment methods are accepted?

The following payment methods are accepted: cash (Euro), credit cards, holiday vouchers, gift vouchers (Cadhoc, TirGroupé, Chèque Havas, Cado Chèque). Cheques are not accepted for the payment of a bill (Article L112-8 of the Monetary and Tax Code and Article 40 of Decree No. 92456 of 22/05/1992). You will always receive change in Euro. You can of course pay your bill with a card other than the one you used to make your reservation.

What cards are accepted?
We accept:

  • American Express,
  • Diners Club,
  • VISA,
  • Eurocard/Mastercard.
I would like for my company's name to appear on the bill.

That is fine, provided that you place the request at check-in or when booking.

I would like two separate bills (one for accommodation and for my telephone bill)

That is possible of course, as long as you ask us right before we print out your invoice, when you drop off your key to check out.

Cancellation terms

Cancellation conditions

If you booked online on our official site, you can cancel your reservation online, directly on this page, where you will need to enter your reservation number. If you booked by email, phone or fax, simply contact us to cancel your booking. You can cancel your booking without paying any fees until 6 pm on the day of your scheduled arrival (local time). To do so, use the site’s cancellation section. After this time, or if you fail to show up, the hotel will charge the first night excluding breakfast.


Rates: Are the prices per person or per room?
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per room per night.
Am I sure to benefit from the weekend rate?
These rates are subject to availability. If the hotel is already practically full, we reserve the right to not offer the lowest rates. We therefore recommend booking as early as possible. We always automatically offer the best available rate at the time of your request.
Are service and taxes included?

No. Our prices do not include tourism tax of €1.40 per person per night (unless stated otherwise).

I plan to visit Chasseneuil-du-Poitou on a regular basis. Can I benefit from a discount?
In that case, leave your business card at the hotel’s front desk so that our sales department may make you an offer for your future stays with us.


Confidentiality: Do you keep my credit card details after I leave?
No. That is why this information will be requested again if you book with us in the future.
Are my personal data transferred to a third person or organisation?
No. Only the booking service or accounting may get in touch with you if necessary. We agree not to disclose any of your personal data.


What is the check-out time?

By 12 noon please. We can keep your luggage in the luggage room behind the front desk if you are leaving the region later in the day.

Do you accept families?

Absolutely! We have several rooms to accommodate 3 and 4 people, plus connecting rooms for 4 to 5 people, suites and even 2 rooms for 5 people and 1 room for 7 people. We can provide a cot (please request when booking) and there is also a high chair in the breakfast room.

Do children stay for free?

Children aged 0 to 5 years stay in their parents’ room for free and use the beds provided or the child’s bed. Breakfasts are payable for children aged 5 to 16 and are free for children under the age of 5.

Can I add a cot or folding bed?
Yes, this can be requested of course, preferably when booking.
Do the rooms have a bathroom?

All rooms have their own bathroom, with a bath, shower and hair dryer.

Are towels provided?
Yes, towels are provided.
Do all rooms have heating and air-conditioning?

Yes, all the rooms have heating and individual air-conditioning.

Can I smoke or vape in my room?

o, the entire hotel is non-smoking. This includes the breakfast room, the restaurants, the lounge-bar, the game room, the cardio-training room, the conference rooms, the toilets, the front desk and the guest rooms.

Can you accommodate people with reduced mobility?

Yes, we have 12 rooms specially fitted out for people with reduced mobility. We have the Tourisme et Handicap accessibility certification for the 4 disabilities.

Restaurant and bar

What does breakfast include?

There is a buffet breakfast which includes over 30 items, from hot drinks, pastries, bread and fruit to dairy products, cereals and charcuterie. There are also home-made items: rice pudding, briche, cakes, flan and gingerbread cake. For more information, see our breakfast page.

It is served between 7am and 10am.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

On site, there is the Le Bistro restaurant as well as a lounge bar. Reservations are required for the restaurant via reception. Opening hours depend on the hotel’s occupancy rate.

We are officially a 3-star hotel.

The front desk is open 24/7.

Do you have a loyalty programme?

Yes, we are part of The Originals, Human Hotels & Resorts cooperative , so you can enjoy multiple benefits and a loyalty programme valid at more than 400 hotels in France.

Do you have a luggage room?

Customers at Hotel Altéora Futuroscope site benefit from a free luggage room. Luggage left remains the responsibility of the luggage room’s users. The hotel cannot be held liable for any stolen, lost or damaged luggage left by customers in the communal areas of the hotel. Pets, flammable products and dangerous objects will not be accepted in the luggage room. The hotel reserves the right to refuse to store an item in the luggage room if it is believed to protect the site’s security. People not staying at Hotel Altéora will not be allowed to store their baggage in the luggage room.

Do you have a car park?

Yes, there is a car park at the hotel. It is free and unmanned. The car park has 300 spaces and can accommodate both cars and buses. The hotel also has 5 charging points for electric vehicles. Access is free to our customers.
We are the only hotel on the Futuroscope site to offer: 1 BMW and 4 DIVA SMART PILOT charging points, 2 of which are normal and 2 of which are fast-charging.
We do not reserve parking spaces in advance. The hotel cannot be held liable if a vehicle or its contents are stolen or damaged.

Is the hotel noisy?

The hotel itself is not noisy. All the windows are double glazed.

Are pets allowed?

We welcome pets. They are allowed free of charge.

Please agree to the following rules:

  • Please tell the team at the front desk that you are travelling with a pet.
  • Only one pet is allowed per room.
  • Pets may not be left alone in your room during the day. Futuroscope Theme Park has a pet-friendly area to accommodate them. (10€ per day per box)
  • For the wellbeing of all, pets are not allowed in the restaurant lounge bar, games room, gym or pool.
  • The security of the staff should never be compromised by your pet.
  • As the owner, you are fully responsible for your pet.

Hotel management reserve the right to revoke your pet’s right to stay at any time if one or more of these conditions are not respected.
